Third One-Day Workshop on Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Writing for Program Team Members and Focal Persons at MTI-GKMC/BKMC Swabi, 21 Sep 2022

The third one-day workshop of its series on Self-Assessment Report (SAR) writing, organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC) Swabi, was conducted today on 21st September, 2022. The workshop was attended by teaching faculty from basic and clinical sciences. Prof Dr. Ishtiaq (Head of Medical Education Department) and Dr. Mohammad Khalid (Director Quality Enhancement Cell) were the resource persons for this workshop.

The opening session of the workshop was also attended by the Dean, MTI-GKMC/BKMC Swabi (Prof Dr. Shams-Ur-Rahman). In his opening remarks, he emphasized on the importance of quality enhancement of medical education in the country. He appreciated the efforts of Quality Enhancement Cell of the college for organizing and conducting workshops. He assured that all required support will be provided for the quality enhancement of medical education in the institution.

He expressed that the workshop will build the capacity of medical faculty and enable them to advocate and enhance quality of medical education in the institution.

The Director QEC, Dr. Mohammad Khalid thanked the resource person Prof Dr Ishtiaq Khan for sparing his time for the workshop. He also thanked all the participants for their keen interest and active participation in the workshop.
